El curso diseñado bajo un prisma teórico-practico, con participación como ponentes médicos y enfermería de de AP y hospitalaria, fue una revisión completa y actualizada de los temas de mayor interés en todas las etapas de la enfermedad renal,, empezando por la prevención y detección precoz de la ERC oculta en la población general, continuando con la intervención necesaria para prevenir la progresión de la enfermedad y finalmente bajo un prisma mas nefrológico los temas se centraron en la atención integral del paciente con enfermedad renal crónica avanzada en la consulta ERCA , así como diferentes opciones de tratamiento renal sustitutivo (diálisis domiciliaria, hospitalaria, trasplante renal de vivo y cadáver), incluyendo el tratamiento conservador. Los 3 días, las sesiones científicas, daban paso a talleres prácticos con casos clínicos dirigidos tanto por y para médicos como por y para enfermería

En definitiva todo un recorrido de revisión y actualización a lo largo de todas las etapas de la enfermedad renal que han permitido a los asistentes tener una visión global de la enfermedad
