La Escuela de pacientes con enfermedad renal crónica, es una iniciativa impulsada por la Consejería de Salud de la Rioja, que nace con el objetivo de mejorar la salud y el bienestar global del paciente y sus cuidadores en todas las esferas de la vida.

Su objetivo es ser un espacio de formación, encuentro e interacción bidireccional entre pacientes, sus asociaciones, familiares-cuidadores, profesionales de todos los ámbitos de la salud y ciudadanía en general, para intercambiar conocimientos y experiencias, con el objetivo de aportar las herramientas y habilidades que capaciten a todas las personas en su corresponsabilidad en el cuidado de su salud y control de la enfermedad.

La Escuela desarrolla tanto actividades presenciales, como grupales y talleres formativos, todo ello sustentado por esta plataforma Web, piedra angular de referencia de todo su contenido, en la que encontrará documentos y videos educativos, testimonios de pacientes y sus cuidadores, cursos educativos On Line, boletines informativos, links y noticias de interés, dietas y recetarios, convocatorias de cursos, talleres y demás actividades de la escuela.

Estamos ubicados en las dependencias del Servicio de Nefrología del Hospital San Pedro y nuestro deseo es ser el punto de referencia de toda la información relacionada con la enfermedad renal crónica y para ello contamos con su opinión y aportaciones que nos ayuden a mejorar.
