El día 22 de Junio se realizó la primera visita guiada a la Unidad de Diálisis, para pacientes con ERC. A la convocatoria acudieron 4 pacientes y sus familiares con el objetivo de conocer de primera mano los modos de tratamiento de diálisis.

La visita, estuvo dirigida por profesionales de enfermería de Nefrología de las Unidades de diálisis peritoneal y hemodiálisis, comenzando por un aula de información sobre la enfermedad renal y las diferentes opciones de diálisis-trasplante, mediante la proyección de un vídeo educativo con posterior turno de preguntas. A continuación, se realizó una visita a la unidad de diálisis peritoneal y posteriormente a la unidad de hemodiálisis, en las que tuvieron la oportunidad de visualizar y conocer in situ los materiales, los monitores, dializadores e incluso pudieron contrastar vivencias con pacientes que estaban en diálisis en ese momento. Los pacientes trasmitieron su satisfacción por la experiencia y tomar conciencia de la realidad del tratamiento.
